Drawings done in first year mark a foundational point in my architectural education. The line drawing, in particular, provides architects with a method of communicating three-dimensional work in an informative, often scaled, representation of the work. My hope is to never lose sight of the value of a drawing in its versatility and clarity, even as my work becomes progressively more digital.
